Bangladesh. We would constantly update this web site. Apart from
information relating to passport, visa and other consular matters,
visitors may also download passport and visa applications forms from
this web site. There would also be available information on guidelines
for filling in the forms including requirements for and relevant
procedures to be followed by the applicants. It may be noted that our
consular forms will also be accepted by our Embassy in Washington DC and
Consulate General in New York and vice versa.

Notice
Government of the
People's Republic of Bangladesh is going to introduce MRP (Machine
Readable Passport) very soon and hence decided to stop issuing/
renewing manual passport unless there is any emergency. In case of
emergency, a passport with validity of 3 (three) years may be
issued at a cost of US$33.00. In case of emergency old passport may be
renewed at a cost of $17.00 (urgent) and $9.00 (regular) per year.
